Melbourne: On the eve of his maiden trip to India, Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said he was excited to further strengthen Canberra's complex relationship with New Delhi, particularly in the areas of commerce, security, and people-to-people linkages.
Albanese will spend four days in India with a delegation of politicians and business leaders at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
According to a statement released by India's Foreign Affairs Ministry in New Delhi, he is scheduled to touch down in Ahmedabad on Wednesday, then travel to Mumbai on Thursday, and finally make his way to New Delhi the same day.—Inputs from Agencies
